ENDURANCE TEST APPARATUS

The endurance test apparatus 6 Amps to 40 Amps as per CL. 9.11 of IS: 8828-1996 any one rating at a time . The system consists of following three parts:

1. Control Panel
2. Load Bank
3. Test Stand

Maximum Capacity : 40 Amps.
Cos j: 0.5 to 0.9
Power Factor Meter: 1 No.
Amp. Meter: 1 No.
Volt Meter: 1 No.
Loading: Resistive & Inductive loading from 6A to 40 A Cont. variables Ammeter, Voltmeter and Power factor meter of AE.
Size 96 mm. (Analog) 96 mm. Sq (Digital) Mechanical arrangement consists of Pneumatic cylinder P.L.C. Control for setting the duration from 1 sec/ 14 sec.
Counter : 1 Nos. 6 Digit : System consist of alarm incase of open/close. Counter Meter circuit or weld of contact point.

Load

Load will be air cored inductor with taps and resistor bank, to obtain all test currents from 6 A to 40 A at 0.875 Pf.
Duty cycle will be 1 sec./14 sec. & 1 sec./29 sec. (rating based).
Reactor Shunt load of 0.6% will be provided.

Test Stand

Test stand will have electro pneumatic mechanism for MCB operation fitted with 24 V DC solenoid valve & flow controls, for one device at a time. All control interconnections between 3 equipment are included for distances within 3 meter. [Without Stabilizer.] & Fixture for Short circuit for endurance test.
